We will be farewelling the mother of Kelston Boys, Mrs Karen Leahy, on Thursday, 24 December. Mrs Leahy will be driven through the school at 9 am on Thursday for her final journey. I hope that we are able to have as many ex- and current students present to provide her with a rousing send-off, one that she so deserves and would love. Her funeral service will follow at 10 am at Morrisons Funeral Home, Universal Drive, Henderson.

Mrs Leahy's family has requested that in lieu of flowers, those donations be made to the Karen Leahy Memorial Fund. The funds raised will be used for supporting students of Kelston Boys through their schooling. The family will make the final decision on what that support will look like when they are able to. Mrs Leahy will always be remembered for the enormity of her heart and her love for our boys. She loved her boys as a mother would, both with care and with firmness. Kelston Boys has truly been enriched by her. She will be sorely missed.
